dear entire fucking mass effect fandom

The games were not ever divided into good and evil

or even good and “douche”

The games were not ever polarizing or strictly black and white

EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DECISION was a grey area

that’s why they’re so hard to make

that’s why every decision requires a committed ME player to think about the repercussions long and hard

because even a Paragon choice could end up horribly for many of the people involved

and a Renegade choice could save millions

NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN CLEAR CUT IN MASS EFFECT AND THAT’S WHY THE NARRATIVE IS SO CAPTIVATING AND BRILLIANT

THAT IS WHY IT CAUSES SO MUCH EMOTIONAL REACTION

So saying that the ending (which I have admittedly not experienced yet but I DON’T NEED TO TO POINT THIS OUT) is deserving of fan hatred and outrage JUST BECAUSE IT DOESN’T FALL STRICTLY ON YOUR SHEPARD’S MORALITY LINES?

that is the stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever heard

call off this idiotic petition and all of this ridiculous backlash this instant and thank bioware for creating the most compelling video game narrative of all time

get on your fucking knees and thank them

QUINN HOLY SHIT

OH MY GOD I JUST SCREAMED SO LOUD

FUCK FUCK FUCK

A while back, Bryke mentioned that Bei Fong’s first name might hint at the identity of her dad. The admin at the Winx forum claims her name is “Lin” - not Wei, like a lot of people suspected after the VA list was released - and so I went ahead and googled it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lin_%28surname%29

Lin (Chinese character).jpg

Lín character - ancient depiction of two trees.

Literal meaning “forest”.

Make of this what you will, fandom. I bet it’s The Duke

OOC: HOLY SHI-

Just pointing out that this is only one meaning of the word. We don’t know the tonal marking of her name or how it’s written, so this is just guesswork. Other possible meanings include jade, gem, phosphorous, water in rock, long rain, and scales of a fish, among many others.

… Also, Lin isn’t her surname. That’s Bei Fong. Just to clarify.

Just to reiterate what was said in the post above….

Other possible meanings include jade, gem, phosphorous, water in rock, long rain, and scales of a fish, among many others.

So yeah. For someone who has supposedly resigned herself to the death of Tokka, I suddenly have too much hope for my own good.

water in rock

WATER IN ROCK

TOKKA LIVES THROUGH A REALLY CRUDE SEXUAL INNUENDO

ALSO LONG RAIN COULD BE THE NAME OF HI— *SHOT*

Glee Spoiler Bomb! Anyone Want to See Naya Rivera and Heather Morris Make Out?

my-lucky-day:

Get ready for a Glee fangasm.

A reliable source tells me that the moment Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) fans have been waiting for is coming—and soon.

All you need to know are these eight little words:

HOOOOOOOOOLY SHIT FINALLY

once this happens i can stop watching this horrible show forever

The beauty of tonight’s two hours lay in the way Zachary Levi wore Chuck’s emotions so nakedly, and in the way Yvonne Strahovski conveyed just how badly Sarah wanted to believe in the life he described. I bitched last week in this space about how the show sometimes treats Sarah as an unequal partner in their relationship. But the symmetry of events that echoed those in the pilot restored that balance nicely in its final hours. Whereas she was his initial shoulder to cry on in a new world order he didn’t understand, so now will he be hers.
