my favorite part of the scott pilgrim movie was all of the repurposed lines of dialogue
because the dialogue was fucking excellent in the comic and it would have been really silly to leave out some of those lines just because the particular context was scraped

I still think Buckley’s a piece of fucking shit human being but that comic has made me laugh

Yeah, me too, those are brilliant lines. They really make you reflect on your own life. Mumford has a way of writing lyrics that are not just songs, but musical poetry.
